Leafy Lab enables materials researchers in industry to utilize machine learning tools to design better materials faster, and cheaper. These tools enable an enhanced understanding of the underlying dynamics of material systems, and can therefore improve experimental design. We have also build an interface for clients to use to interact with these tools to apply them to their own internal data and integrate them with their internal workflows.
I oversee the devlopment of our platform: a suite of tools for researchers to utilize when designing experiments. This is currently a web application built on the nextjs framework. This platform also requires a robust backend architecture to manage jobs and compute resources. This includes data analysis, figure generation, and modeling. This backend is modular in order to enable scalability of our product.
