TensorFlowI was fascinated by the idea of computer vision. The idea that you can decipher information from images was exciting, and I saw plenty of applications for it in my own work. So instead of admiring this skill from a distance, I decided to dive in and learn about image processing, CNNs, object detection, and image segmentation. I found my way to the OpenCV docs, however, I found them hard to learn from. Instead I opted to take a course!
This course gave me a great overview of image processing techniques, expanding my imagination and understanding of what computer vision is and how I could apply it. From preprocessing techniques, what filters are, to corner detection and thresholding, I now possessed strong fundamentals to work on any vision task.
